Not late...contemplative

The trailer debuted more than a week ago, but it has taken me a little time to come up with something to say about Disney's FIRST AFRICAN-AMERICAN PRINCESS!

I'm so excited to see a princess who looks like me, I grew up with Belle, Jasmine and Ariel, I'm so happy to see that Princess Tiana is brown-skinned. From what the trailer shows, it seems like it's going to be a cute movie, omitting the firefly at the end. I'm not going to criticize a movie I haven't seen yet. Scratch that...why isn't her Prince African-American?Why can't she find a nice Black man...that's my only criticism until I see the movie. I just hope Disney is smart about this.

I wish I had a daughter by 2009 so that I could take her to see this for Christmas...it will definitely be bought on dvd for her to enjoy when she comes.
